Internal data from Lands of America records over $5 billion in land and other rural acreage for sale in the Yellowhammer State. This constitutes more than 508,000 acres of Alabama land for sale. Of the 67 counties in Alabama, Baldwin County had the most land and farms for sale. There were 3,754 acres of sold land in Alabama recorded in February 2019 through the Lands of America sales program. This reflects a decline in sales activity over data from the month before. The most land sales in the state last month were recorded in Houston County. Alabama takes full advantage of its plentiful natural assets, with over 1.3 million acres of public hunting lands and some of the country's most liberal hunting seasons and bag limits.
